Coverage of one athlete at one tournament, in the package you choose when you book. What each package includes is listed on the booking page for that event, and that listing is what applies to your booking.

Separately, you can buy individual photos from past events in the gallery. Those are one-off purchases and none of the booking rules below apply to them.

A deposit reserves the spot. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay. The rest is due when your photos and highlight film are ready, and the files unlock for download once it is paid.

Zelle and Apple Cash. Neither has automatic confirmation, so we check each transfer by hand against what we received. Your spot is held while we check, normally within 24 hours. If we cannot find the payment, we hold the spot a little longer so you can fix it. The status is always shown in your account, and if you opted in to text messages we also text you when it clears or if we cannot find it.

Card and PayPal. When those are available at checkout, the payment confirms automatically.

Each event has a fixed number of spots, because one photographer can only follow so many athletes in a day. A spot is yours once the deposit clears. A checkout you start but do not pay releases the spot again after a short hold.

Text us every time the athlete enters the bullpen. Send the athlete’s name and the bullpen area to 818-213-0102. Brackets in jiu-jitsu often run ahead of schedule and mats change without notice. That text is how we are mat-side when the match starts.

It is a real condition of the coverage, which is why you agree to it at checkout and not in fine print afterwards. If we are not told, we may miss matches we would otherwise have shot.

When the files are ready they appear in your account, watermarked, so you can see what you are getting, and we text you if you opted in to text messages. Paying the balance removes the watermark and unlocks the download of the clean files.

Pending: the cancellation window, what happens to the deposit if the athlete withdraws or the tournament is cancelled, and how a refund is issued. Until it is published here, text 818-213-0102 and we will sort it out case by case.

Pending: what you may do with the files you download — posting on social, printing, and whether commercial use or resale is included. Until it is published here, assume personal and social media use of your own athlete’s files, and ask us before anything else.

The photographs and films themselves remain the work of Fightography Media, which may use them in its own portfolio and gallery.

Program. Fightography booking texts, sent by GARAGE BJJ LLC under its brand name Fightography.

What you receive. Texts about your own bookings and photo orders only: booking confirmation, Zelle payment status, a reminder to add the athlete’s bracket, a reminder the day before the event, notice when photos or the highlight film are ready, balance reminders and payment confirmation. If you are signed up for texts, also texts about photo orders from the gallery. We do not send marketing texts.

Opting in is optional. You opt in by checking the text message box at checkout. It is not required to book or to buy photos.

The terms that apply to a booking are the ones published when you booked. When these change, the date at the top changes with them.
