Fightography Media photographs and films athletes at combat sports tournaments in the United States, and delivers the edited photos and highlight films through this site. Fightography is operated by GARAGE BJJ LLC.

Pending: mailing address and business email. Until published here, reach us by text at 818-213-0102.

What you give us when you book: the athlete’s name, your phone number and email, Instagram handle, academy or team, belt, age and weight division, competition day, song preference for the highlight film, and the accounts you want added as collaborators on the post.

For athletes under 18: the parent or guardian’s name and their consent, recorded with the date it was given.

Payment: we never see or store card numbers. Card payments are handled by the payment processor on their own systems. For Zelle and Apple Cash, we record the amount you declared and confirm it by hand against what we received.

Photos and video: the images we shoot of the athlete at the tournament, and the edited files we deliver.

Automatically: standard server logs from hosting, such as the request time and browser type.

We use it to find the athlete at the tournament, shoot the right matches, deliver the files, take payment, and text you about the booking. That is the whole list. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How you opt in. You opt in by checking the text message box at checkout when you book coverage or buy photos in the gallery. The box is optional and never checked for you, and you can book or buy without it. Consent is stored with the date and time you gave it, and right after you opt in we send one text confirming it. Signing in with your phone number only sends you a one-time sign-in code; it does not sign you up for these messages.

What we send. Only messages about your own booking: confirmation that the spot is reserved, Zelle or Apple Cash payment received or not found, a reminder to add the athlete’s bracket when brackets are published, a reminder the day before the event, a message when the photos or highlight film are ready, a reminder that the balance is open, and confirmation once it is paid. If you are signed up for texts and buy photos in the gallery, we also text you about that photo order: that we got your Zelle or Apple Cash payment notice, and confirmation once it is paid. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How often. It depends on your booking. A single booking usually means a handful of messages between reserving the spot and downloading the files.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for messages.

Stopping. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or text us at 818-213-0102. Opting out of texts does not cancel your booking, but it does mean we will have to reach you another way.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf, and never for their own use.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Only the companies that run parts of the service for us: website hosting, the database that stores bookings and files, the payment processors, and the messaging provider that delivers text messages. They may only use the data to provide that service to us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Otherwise, no.

We shoot at public tournaments, under the rules each organizer sets for photography at their event. Photos of an athlete may appear in that event’s gallery on this site and be sold as prints or digital files.

If you are the athlete, or the parent or guardian of an athlete under 18, and you want a photo taken down, text 818-213-0102 and tell us which event and which athlete. We will remove it.

Pending: the retention period for original photos and videos, and the notice you get before files are removed. Until it is published here, we keep delivered files available in your account and remove nothing without telling you first.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Text 818-213-0102 with the athlete’s name and the event. Deleting an account does not delete the payment records we are required to keep.

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects how we text you, we will ask for consent again rather than assume the old one covers it.
